We come from music. We create through art.
Hawking Seeds exist in the space where those two worlds collide.
Our roots stretch back through decades of counterculture — free festivals, space‑rock stages, circus life, travellers’ fields, Acid House nights, and the creative families who built those scenes. Music wasn’t just something we listened to; it was the environment we grew up in. It shaped our identity, our imagination and the way we see the world.
Art became the natural extension of that energy.
The colours, the posters, the dancers, the lights, the mythology — all of it fed into a visual language that still runs through everything we make today.

Our art bridges the gap between underground rebellious culture and the fast-moving rhythm of autoflower genetics. Music plays a crucial role in inspiring artwork for each seed variety. And, if you go back to the cultural revolution of the 1960s, music is how the seeds' modern heritage began. We create our own art and then tweak it with AI. Some people assume that these 'tweaks' take seconds. In fact, when you are working with a clear vision of what you want to generate, it can take days or even weeks of prompting to get anywhere close. Our first few images took 197 hours to complete! Often, these designs demand even further refining — a process that can take additional hours to days to finish.
